I love social media, absolutely love it. I have a lot of accounts across them. But there are some forms that, I will admit, fucking mystify me.
- Twitter: I mean, I get it, but yet and all I don't. It's 140 characters and you have to express whatever you need to express within them. Some people can do that but I'm a wordy person. I have one? But its mainly just to follow people I like/random friends who get it more than me.
- Vine: I DON'T GET WHAT THE FUCKING POINT OF THIS IS! Is it like a shorter version of youtube? I've seen some really funny ones, don't get me wrong but the fact that its only 6 seconds long kind of irritates me or I'd like it a lot more.
- Kik: What. I can't. What even. This is like a different version of vine, right?
- Snapchat: Is that where you send pic-texts back and forth? No fucking thank you.
- Tumblr: I KIND OF GET IT. But ONLY KIND OF. I also get that supposedly 'nobody talks about tumblr' and yet people get thousands of likes for no apparent reason. I realize this is because of hashtags but I... don't get hashtags.
These things mystify me. I feel old now.

Hi guys.
I recently purchased Toon Boom animation studio in hopes that I could get to work on some of my non-pony projects. Yes, I have non-pony projects, I don't always draw ponies. In fact for the better part of a year I've been working on a completely non-pony thing and I had an idea... an idea that would require animation and I've done it before... yes I have done animation before but you'll have to use your psychic powers to find it. I keep all of that separate from any pony fandom stuff.

I have painter essentials 4 in my possession again so at least Bambi's learning to walk in familiar surroundings. I'm slowly getting used to sketchbook express but it's... well not my cup of tea. It's a very bare bones program compared to any of the painter programs I've worked with. I mean so far I've drawn ONE thing in it... I like it if I'm actually going to ink something but for coloring its kind of horrible. I need something I can literally do EVERYTHING in. Sketchbook Express? Not so much.
Also the intuos pro has a very very strange surface and if you have touch enabled on it, you WILL fuck up pictures majorly. That's why I have to tur

Charger died a heroic death and my old tablet was not compatible with my new computer (THANKS A FUCKING LOT WINDOWS 8!) so I had to purchase not only a new computer but a new tablet. I now have windows 8.1 (the new computer is named Cash) and a new intuos pro tablet... its sort of weird, like bambi learning how to walk AGAIN but I'm getting the hang of it a little better on day 2.
I'm going to upload a test picture from it. I haven't really gotten the hang of coloring yet so BEAR WITH ME.

A moment of silence...
Forgive me for not updating, but on New Years Eve, I had to put down my best friend... my 13 year old Lab/Corgi mix, PJ... he's been in a few pictures... I can't exactly put them here because I don't have a plus account but look around... he's the little red dog in my gallery.
He was only 13 but got epically sick, suddenly and he wasn't going to get any better.
I'd talk about it more but to be honest it hurts like fuck to talk about it. He was my baby, and I had to bury him on what should've been a day of fun, a day of celebration.
At least it wasn't Christmas.
So... I'll be back.

LMAO You and me both! Hashtags are just dumb, imho. If you're going to use something for archiving or marking something, like sorting a file, why not just use "&" or some other keyboard symbol that isn't as commonly used for things. Like "#" = NUMBER(S).
